Frequently asked questions
Can a knocked-out tooth be saved?
Often, yes, if it is put back within about an hour. Keep it in milk and come in immediately.
Should I go to a hospital or a dentist?
For tooth pain, a broken tooth or a lost filling, see a dentist. For swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, or a serious injury, go to a hospital first.
